Current pool restrictions (max 25 people and a sign up for 1.5 hour window) made the stay very enjoyable. The pool is small so any more people would have been too crowded. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Will stay here again, service was great, I arrived on a snowy night and the parking lot was clear and sanded, the checking was easy and a nice clean lobby, the room was a nice size, the heater was noisy thru the night and woke me up a few times thoug.

No room cleaning during the stay period!!!
Everything was good, except the hotel's policy of not cleaning the room during the guest's stay - that means no changing towels, no toilet paper, etc. and you have to grab them yourself, not mentioning the condition of the bathroom after few days of use without cleaning!!!

Had a great stay at the Super 8 in Amherst. There is a lot of attention to details and little extras around the property. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean with all the amenities needed. Comfy beds and pillows.

Thus is a beautiful property with horrible management and zero customer service skills. Too bad as hotel rooms are lovely. Makes the brand look horrible and definitely not a good representation for Super 8 162$ to have the contract signed at check in broken

My wife and I stayed three nights at this hotel in July 2021. We were thoroughly impressed with the friendly service provided by staff. The room and beds were very comfortable. We were especially pleased with the hot breakfast offered during the pandemic that maintained health protocols. Many hotels do not offer much more than an apple and water for breakfast. We will definitely return to this hotel when we travel.

Super 8 in Amherst Nova Scotia.
Felt discriminated...never in my life was I asked to show picture ID after presenting a credit card. Also, key cards to room didn't work..three times. Was told by one person couldn't do laundry after 11...another staff later said there is no issue doing laundry after 11.
Also very expensive.
On a positive note the breakfast lady was very professional and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the location is great. Internet connection was a bit slow but still workable. I enjoyed the breakfast and how quiet it was in the evening.

We enjoyed our night at this property even though it was a bit noisy as it’s located close to the highway once I fell asleep I stayed asleep. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that otherwise everything was spotless and the mattress was super comfy!

Travelling for business currently is a challenge, & the staff at this hotel go out of their way to accommodate travel needs. Appreciated their effort. This property is showing its age, but nothing wrong with it. Reliable internet, breakfast on the go, in the mornings. Recommend!
